AboutVolunteers are needed each year to help make the MCCA Annual Convention and Tradeshow a success. Volunteering is a great way to network while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the event. Volunteering is open to all attendees and citizens of the host community.
Volunteering at the MCCA Annual Convention and Tradeshow is an honor and a privilege. You are the face of #MCCA19 and an extension of the association staff. As such, volunteers are expected to be punctual, respectful, and helpful during shifts. Scheduling our more than 20 volunteers for a three day event requires a tremendous amount of planning and cooperation; MCCA appreciates your willingness to help make this year’s meeting a huge success, by honoring your shifts, showing up on time, and staying until the job is done! Based on documented hours worked, Volunteer Leads may be reimbursed 25-75 percent of the general convention registration fee paid. This does not apply to housing and travel expenses. ApplyPlease complete the volunteer application by Friday, October 4, 2019. Qualified applicants will be contacted no later than Friday, October 11, 2019.
Note: All Volunteers and Leads are required to attend the pre-convention orientation on Wednesday, November 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. |
